Dwarven fortress

When I was younger, I always imagined that there would be these great, hidden fortresses in the mountains near my cottage. Oh, who am I kidding, I still do.

This took me about two hours in photoshop. My goal was to paint with light. I see a lot of room for improvement, but I'd rather move on to another piece and go back to this one later. The area I was happiest about was the distant mountains and valley. Next time I hope to improve the sky and clouds.
